DON’T MISS LONDON’S CHRISTMAS WINTER TIME FESTIVAL

WHAT

Greenwich Winter Time Festival at the Royal Naval College

PRICE

Tickets are for a three-hour slot: adults, £15, children, £8

WHY

The UNESCO World Heritage site is a Pret A Parent must-visit for families at any time of year but we’re especially excited in the run up to Christmas now that they are hosting the Greenwich Winter Time Festival. We’ll be getting our skates on at the riverside rink, joining Father Christmas on his magical launch pad, as well as doing some last-minute shopping in the “most Instagrammable” Christmas market in London. There are lots of live performances including a special screening of The Snowman film accompanied by a performance from one of the capital’s oldest brass bands. And the little ones will be mesmerised by the biggest loo roll ever on stage at the children’s musical adaptation of the Giant’s Loo Roll (2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th, 16th, 18th – 23rd) as well as Thomas Trilby’s festive circus show (17th, 26th, 31st). We can’t wait to soak up the festive atmosphere with a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie. It’s going to be a real Christmas treat.

WHERE

In the grounds of the Old Royal Naval College next to Greenwich Rail or the Cutty Sark DLR

WHERE TO EAT

Feast on a real Christmas Cracker this year. Created by the slow roast experts Pulled, it’s a brioche filled with slow roasted pulled turkey, sausage meat, stuffing, crispy kale, mini roast potatoes and cranberry sauce. If that isn’t tempting enough what about strawberries, bananas and marshmallows dipped in delicious chocolate at The Chocolate Van.
